There are 2 beats Upper and Lower which rotate each week. As well as salmon, the upper beat produces large brown trout and there is a strong run of sea trout and a good head of large grayling.

Probably the cheapest salmon fishing to be found. Early season the fishing can be along traditional lines due to absence of weed whilst later the tactics include the induced take using nymph with sink & draw technique. 2021 & 2022 saw several good salmon landed up to 20lbs.

This is a lovely wild fishery on the river Avon, just north of Salisbury. Unstocked, but with a good head of wild trout and grayling, Wading is essential and catch and release is mandatory. It presents variety of trout water covering about 1500m including a bridge pool, mill leat, gravel runs, deep glides, shallows, weir cascade and weir pool..

A 7' to 8'6'' rod is perfect. This is not a manicured fishery! The river keeping policy is of sensitive, light intervention and although there is a bank path around the fishery, maintenance is only to preserve bankside vegetation and fly life.

The Salterton Fishery lies between Lower and Middle Woodford in the Woodford Valley. The river is varied with deeper water to be found in the stretches at the top and at the bottom of the fishery. Where an island has formed the river is shallower with some flow diverted to the lively stream of Ham Carrier.

Plenty of different waters on this scenic and private fishery. Some like to wade the bottom stretch though its not necessary. Wild fish are flourishing as well as chub, dace, roach and grayling who will all rise to the fly

This is a little gem, part of Hungerford Town and Manor fishery, gifted to the townsfolk by John of Gaunt. All the other fishing is let to syndicate members and the waiting list is huge. You have exclusive use of the Hungerford Marsh stretch for your day and our booking is for two rods so you can bring a guest. The beat extends for 950 metres of the River Dun. Despite being only a short walk from the town, this is a very private and intimate section of river with its own fishing hut. It's crystal clear, creepy, crawly fishing where stealth will be the key.

Good head of fish though easily spooked hence subtle river craft needed - keep low by the water, few false casts trying to make each cast count. Wading permitted only if it is necessary to enter the water to better cover a fish. Exit water at point of entry and do not wade up river.

The Itchen Carrier at Easton is an exceptionally rare stretch of gin-clear chalk stream that leads into the main river. In places the fishing presents a technical challenge for even the most experienced fly fisherman, but The Carrier is also suitable for those under the instruction of a guide, or any enthusiasts that simply enjoy time by the river. This iconic estate includes 2.5 miles of prime chalkstream that provides excellent fly fishing for wild brown trout and grayling. The estate is mostly fished with dry fly only but a nymph may be used after June if the fish are staying close to the bottom. This water (bordering Abbots Barton and Abbotsworthy) has been gently fished by a small band of fishers and we are very lucky to have this opportunity. It is all wild fish (catch and release) with plenty of grayling and brown trout up to 2lbs+. Divided into two beats we alternate every fortnight between the upper and lower.

A diverse ecosystem that attracts a wide array of wildlife and plant life thus ensuring that even on a day when the wild brown trout decide to be particularly elusive, you will nevertheless experience the wonders of nature with kingfishers, buzzards and otters making an appearance.

The fishery offers approximately one mile of single bank fishing. Wild brown trout together with a good head of grayling can be found in the river, supplemented by a stocking programme of brown trout. The fish tend to be free rising and the dry fly will catch fish on most days.

Left bank only with trees behind which can make casting more challenging. Very difficult to cast accurately in a downstream wind.

Four well stocked rotating trout beats near the bottom of the Itchen quite close to the sea. LFS is taking the trout fishing which is well stocked and has plenty of variety.

Both banks are fishable on the majority of the water.

The Kennet is one of the most beautiful of chalk streams, rising in the Marlborough Downs being a Site of Special Scientific Interest, one of few in "improving condition" throughout its length and is a haven for wildlife. Avington lies at the confluence of the Rivers Dunn and Kennet downstream from Hungerford. It boasts a thriving population of wild trout and the fishery is lightly and delicately stocked with young brown trout to help maintain the population. The beats at Avington extend to some 6 miles of largely single bank fishing, serving a mix of small technical carriers and main river which can cater for all abilities. There is a great variety of fishing to suit all levels of experience throughout the season including what is most often a spectacular mayfly hatch.

Delightful stretches of river and carrier. Well stocked with fish who can be skittish if you approach too close or loom over the water. Take it slow, study the water and try and spot your fish so you can cast appropriately.

This was a new fishery for LFS in 2022 that has been both popular and productive. The Loddon (a tributary of the Thames) has an indigenous head of coarse fish (not grayling) and wild brown trout and the fishery stocks with both rainbow and brown trout.

The more open and easier water of the two. Seth the Waterkeeper will be around from time to time to offer advice and encouragement. A short water holding plenty of large fish. All right bank.

This fishery continues a great success. The Lower beat has one of the best pools on the entire river being responsible for biggest fish of the season from Society waters in every year. Seth, the River Keeper, is usually about to give a hand in his relaxed, no-nonsense manner and certainly helped several members to score. Those on the WhatsApp group will have enjoyed Seth's many videos on and about the river in 2021 and 2022 not least on the substantial bank and riverbed works conducted this winter with the introduction of many hundreds of tons of gravel.

New in 2022, the fishery produced exceptional fishing and was unsurprisingly 100% booked

600 yards of main river, wide with variable depths and large fish. Outside mayfly, the evenings, especially at dusk, are the best times. A three rod beat renowned for monster trout, with interesting Island feature at the bottom.

Left bank only which is mostly open so presenting little trouble for the back cast. Stocked with fish up to 4lbs. Track up the river bank can get waterlogged so fishermen may have to leave car by the gate and walk to the hut. This much-loved prime beat continues to be a regular producer of big fish.

The Park Stream is the mill stream to the historic Horsebridge Mill. This pretty beat flows from the famous Houghton Club water on the river Test and was recently purchased by Bossington Estate. Double bank of over 300 yards with both trout and a good head of grayling. Fishing for 1, or 2 friends fishing together

Right bank only. Fishers can wade the bottom stretch below the hut, thereafter too deep.

Trout fishing available on the lower reaches of the river Test for 3 rods on alternating Thursdays. The beats often produce very large trout that run downstream towards the estuary. This also offers an excellent opportunity to combine a day of trout fishing at Nursling with night fishing at Testwood for sea trout.

Specialist sea trout fishing at night. No lights on the water and great care needed Recommend arriving whilst still light to study how and where to fish and land them. Not recommended to novices.
